Wireless Networking

can anyone help me? ive tried everything to connect my laptop and desktop pcs the wireless connection between them is great trouble is i cant share anything on either of them there both on xp pro ive done the network wizards many times on them both but still nothing ive set them to ad hoc and they are connecting with each other but they wont share please help

won&#39;t share what?

r they on the same workgroup? can u c 1 another in network places? can they ping each other?

they wont share anything printer,files,internet.
i ran network dianostics and all passed
