I guess it's the "perfect place" image some people have of FTN (fast speeds and pretimes, no ratio, nice community, etc.), maybe combined with the fact it's hard to get... personally, I've never been attracted by that - already have many different trackers offering basically the same content...

i dont want FTN for rarity or showing my e-peny, I mainly want it as its a zeneral 0 day tracker and as it is ratioless.

@ringhunter - yeah i guess i did leave out the fact that many people do genuinely accept and endorse the spirit of filesharing and i find that admirable because we are all here for generally the same reasons so its good that some people who have been here longer are focused on the ideals and not just how cool they look by having high level trackers
@anon-sbi yeah i mean i guess but its already been stated that at least 1 not as high level tracker is basically the same thing and its good that some people realize it. I'm mostly just curious because im relatively new to the torrenting world probably like 3 months maybe 4 but so far i've found anything i could want on lower or mid level trackers that i was able to get without trading, without begging, and without actively trying to make myself look cool because i had something someone else didnt
@BABBY - eh from what i've gathered you can get what FTN offers elsewhere without all the hastle of trying to beg your way into FTN so why dont you? seems like it would be more logical and much easier and if you ended up with the same content etc wouldnt the ultimate goal be reached... unless of course you arent being honest and you really do desire the l33tness of FTN... even if that isnt the only goal it seems to always be one of them when it comes to FTN whether or not the person wants to admit it

Just telling my view, plz dont take it personal
Most of the people who tell that u don't need FTN are not a member of that tracker (Exception are always their), people read rivews and jump to conclusions.
i am not begin for an invite, i just thought that people would help me out as i thought many good people over here to be my friends.
u are right that i can get the same content from other tracker, but i want to get it from ratioless tracker as i don't want to use seedbox or i don't want to invest in rapid share account every month, their are more ratioless tracker but i just saw the list of all the exclusive packs of FTN and i was amazed that most of them were not their in SCC or many other places.
I am always honest, and i agree that getting into FTN is an status of elitness for many people, but believe me i don't care for such status.
i believe money, your politeness, your nature, your deeds and knowledge are the only things on which u can prove that u are a elite persons. other things are not worth stating u to be elite.
anyway i am fed up of this discussion and i don't want to discuss the one and the same thing every now and than, i wont say a word on this topic now on at least not here.
