Moral is, online forum accounts are persona's, kinda like characters in a story. They are all to some degrees fictitious, and at extremes these persona's are completely made up.

I totally agree and I think anyone with some experience of these kind of forums knows what to expect by now...

They can be used as a good source of knowledge at times, and can pass the time away chatting and generally 'shooting the shit' with other people with not much else to do... but I think it would be very, very rare someone would actually make a true life friend on forums such as, but not particularly, FST...

Acquaintances yeah... I've made loads myself, but no-one who would affect me should they decide never to 'log on' again...

Having said that though, two members in particular have been generous to me on FST, and in return I have done what I could to repay their trust. One I enquired about myself, and the other came totally unexpectedly.

@TrueSounds dunson was much worse than that and he's been here with a bunch of nicks including quite recently...doing it all over again

I dont personally agree with just banning entire tree's without question. But some sites do it. And like sear said, being linked to anon may be viewed worse than your average trader/cheater.

I wont argue about opinions, but this give away in itself is against TV's rules.... And anon is more than just your average joe cheat/mod.

I loled at this. OK, I'll forget the past (or I'm willing to), but AFAIK anon still cheats. He never said he stopped...
