I think that's a pretty lax required seeding time, especially on a small site, isn't it?

We prefer global ratio. The 1 hour is just so there is no H&R. Although there will always be H&R grrr. If people dont seed for 1 hour it is instant ban.

I understand but with the smaller site there's going to be an increase in the frequency with which torrents are downloaded. So user X could come along, snatch it, then seed for an hour. But User Z doesn't get on the site until a couple of hours later and he is the only other guy interested in downloading it. The original seeder could've already hopped off it by then, too.

I like the idea where you have to seed at least 7 days within 21 days. That means that you could potentially keep the torrents alive and seeded more for longer.
