Thread: Seedbox vs Usenet, safety?

  1. #1
Just curious, and I figure this is a common, not-so-good question but...

One of the major reasons I switched over to Usenet is because it seems that it's virtually impossible (or just super-duper unlikely and has never happened before) for the mpaa or riaa to come after you for downloading w/e you want, including 0-day releases of movies, music, and tv shows.

I'm still thinking about switching over to a seedbox, but how do you all think a seedbox would compare to Usenet on the level of safety?

Usenet = 99.9% safe. (especially if you use SSL)

Seedbox = Quite safe, but not as safe as usenet.
