It's really open.
Try tipping the url plus signup.php.

It worked for me in firefox. Copy:
http://www.bitmetv.org/
and then add signup.php yourself. OR just use IE.

lol, actually according to IRC convo's, it was Q, CG, and Tvip who wanted to do this, the way I read it. Unfortunately, now that it's been posted here on FST, I think they're going to close it up again. I heard that they're also seeing lots of duplicate accounts signing up and are flagging them all to be banned over the next few days if they make multiple accounts. Also, they;ve said that people who had a previous account which was disabled for any reason are being instantly banned. If they see too many of these multiple accounts, it will probably be the LAST time they do an open signup

It is really is, I'm just confused why his live link redirects me to a Romanian FTP with the Ubuntu ARM image.

one piece of advice for anybody taking advantage of their open signups, read their extensive FAQ and the forums. the "10 commandments for new users" in their forums are particularly relevant. If you have a regular (read: SLOW) internet connection, then you may find "partial seeding" particularly useful in building up ratio quickly.
