no free leech, but for christmas new year they've always done double UL and 1/2 DL on all torrents. meaning if you DL and seed a 350mb torrent to 1:1, only 175mb of DL shows up, and 700mb of UL appears.
also, for noobs, they don't enforce ratio requirements until you've DL'd 2gb.
it's funny seeing the cheaters already getting caught. one new guy reported UL'ing hundreds of gb about 5 minutes after he joined. they said they already nailed a few dozen people opening multiple accounts, too.
as for open reg's being a good or bad thing, 5 hours of open doors every 4 years isn't exactly opening the floodgates.
