i burned it with nero and i dunno what/if i converted it all i did was get the avi and made it into 2 seperate files with easy video splitter then i went to make video CD in Nero StartSmart and followed all there steps.

another thing is that i burned it at 8x is that the right speed or not?

ok neros encoder sucks, but im guessing you dont wanna wait 10hrs+ per 1hr of movie to convert....burn it again, this time a lower speed and close EVERYTHING, like kazaa, internet, aim all that..

use tmpgenc, its the best encoder
and you need to burn at the slowest speed
nero sucks as a encoder, but its the best burning app, thats its main job
