the video and audio is out of sync when i play it on my DVD player, yet its fine on my pc. How do i fix this?

wat did you use to burn it wit?
how did you convert it?

i burned it with nero and i dunno what/if i converted it all i did was get the avi and made it into 2 seperate files with easy video splitter then i went to make video CD in Nero StartSmart and followed all there steps.
another thing is that i burned it at 8x is that the right speed or not?

ok neros encoder sucks, but im guessing you dont wanna wait 10hrs+ per 1hr of movie to convert....burn it again, this time a lower speed and close EVERYTHING, like kazaa,internet, aim all that..

use tmpgenc, its the best encoder
and you need to burn at the slowest speed
nero sucks as a encoder, but its the best burning app, thats its main job
