    9 gigs seems small for a PS3 game. I was under the impression they were closer to 30 gigs.

    They're probably scrubbed to remove any junk data, some games don't even fill up an entire DVD (esp. Wii games), let alone an entire Bluray disc.

    there have been several attempts to create bootloaders for the PS3 and many have worked for a small period of time until they were patched and rendered useless.
