I am not a fan of Java apps, however I don't have problems like this with Vuze. The common view in this thread is that Vuze is a resource hog. However, I've been running version 4.3.1.4 for four days solid and it's not eating resources or running slowly.
I'm not saying it's as light as Utorrent, however I doubt you would notice the difference on the average Windows system.
i prefer utorrent
I used to use Azureus, and Vuze when the name changed. It's still set up and whatnot. All the add-ons, and the blocklist support (when I bothered with that) were pretty great. What appealed to me most was speed scheduling. Now I use some private trackers that don't allow Vuze, so I just stick with uTorrent.
I tried it once or twice in the past, but I prefer utorrent.
love it! got to luv options
still a bit to go to 150 votes
plus i just installed vuze because utorrent 2.0.1 version allowed on Btv and others just kills my damn machine
