TBH if u get a shared server from a good seller (one that only puts 3/4 users per box) I dont think you will see all that much difference from a dediserver. With just 4 users on a box the chance that all the bandwidth is being taken up is much more remote than if there is 10 on the box. On my shared servers I nearly always see full download speed when I hit a torrent. Upload is quite often full speed but more average is around 5mB/s - 8mB/s
A good thing about going with a shared server is that its all setup for you and if anything goes wrong there is someone there with the knowledge to get it sorted.
