You mean out of all the people in Hardware world nobody knows?Since nobody replied last post i guess ill try again but with another problem. When I have the full 1.12 gb of ram in my computer my mouse stops responding and my ethernet turns off/stops working. Could my memory have something to do with it. and one more thing,if I took my 128mb stick out and just left the 2 512s in there would I be able to tell the performance decrease?

I'm not an expert by any means, but if removing the third memory stick solves the problem then that's what I'd do.
I GB of RAM should be plenty for most applications and I doubt that you'd see any difference.

1 gig of ram is more than enough unless u do any heavy graphics or video work then you are fine. It also means you can disable the page files on ur hdd this will improove system performance though you will notice a slight increase in ram usage but with 1gig of it who cares...

My supposition is even though some mobos have 3 banks for RAM. They only accept & recognize 2.
