The spec sheet says USB "service only" so I don't think you can.
    Respect my lack of authority.

I've read that you can change that service only option from the service menu
At least it can be done for the LH3000 model. I guess you can try

WEll the netbook has a VGA Port and according to these specs the tv has one too so you would need a cable like these. Be warned though, you couldn't play HD movies correctly bud. My advice in yet another thread is to save up and get the WDTV Liveand an HDMI cable. the wdtv live will play anything you throw at it. Its about $100 and will save you a world of headache.

Also frank, have I seen you on any other HW forums as of late? your nick and sig seem eerily familiar.

Hey most of us steal avatars, I stole mine as well. I guess frankthetank isn't exactly original either. HW forums=Hardware Forums.

Dude, why not order a VGA cable for $10 bud?

"and a USB port for access to digital music and videos without the need for a PC." Based on the description it should play video from usb.....right? The question is what all formats it will play.

But yeah if not, the little players are sweet (WDTV live, popcorn hour, and asus o!play have all worked well for me).
DO NOT PM me 4 invites thanks
