I've found stuff on Grooveshark that wasn't on VK. That doesn't mean GS's database is better or even larger (there are many dupes of popular songs) though, just my experience.

And yesterday I found that a pretty well-known song surprisingly wasn't on GS. Had to take the time to upload the whole album myself.

It's now flawless as it works on my desktop PC but not my netbook. The .NET Framework never carried on well with MicroXP...

May want to try a full cleanup and reinstall of all the .NET Framework versions. That could help.
