[QUOTE=hobbes,23 October 2003 - 04:25] Life is composed of a series of revelations.

As children, Santa Clause is real, the Easter Bunny is real, magic is magic.

As we grow older, we understand the deception or facade of these mysterious realms.

I never did like you. You have spoiled my childhood(Second) dreams.

Well, thanks guys. I'm sure that Hobbes will be really happy to see his topic filled with flame and macho posturing.

Hobbes - I have a very simple suggestion. If, as it appears, you're feeling down, you might want to try doing what I do when I'm pissed off or upset.

Get a hold of two songs, both by the band Great Big Sea. The first is called Feel it Turn, and the second is Consequence Free.

Listening to these two songs (in that order) never fails to cheer me up somewhat. The power of music is not to be underestimated.

You'll be able to get both songs on K-Lite, or alternatively you can download them straight from me on Soulseek.

I am sorry to disagree with you here Hobbes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Intelligence fades(here is a prime example). remember you both get old together, so the changes are less perceptive. It will happen I can assure you.

Intelligence lasts until senility sets in.

There was something else I was going to say...

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

What? Speak up, you young whippersnapper!

Everyone seems to be talking quieter these days... In my day, they were nice and loud, none of this muttering...

What love is, it is nothing more then the basic human instinct of procreation formed into a more comlex state which grows through time rather then hits all of a sudden
    I love my parents.

I love my children with all my heart and soul!

I love their mothers ( been married twice)

I also love my brothers and sisters.

    That's not sex related.

I would go through fire for all of them

So I believe you to be wrong on this one.

Many people confuse these issues of love and sex.

@ Hobbes, life is still full of surprises. Sometimes the sun shines and sometimes it's cloudy. Everything is in a constant state of change, from emptiness to fullness and back again....
