Well obviously it hasn't affected everyone, otherwise the outcry would've been far greater and we most certainly would've felt it over at the filesharing forum.

Most likely RS attempting to appease copyright nazis agencies by "catching" a few downloaders every now and then.

Hopefully though RS will lenient and only pretend to "catch" a few people every month and disable them while still mainly allowing such activities to occur, otherwise practically 99% of their traffic is gone. We'll have to see.

Thank god for megaupload. I don't even bother buying rapidshare anymore, when megaupload is catching up to them more and more everyday. It's true it would literally takes years to pull even with rapidshare, since they still have a big edge. Once they started being nazis starting with deleting massive amounts of files that hadn't been downloaded in a long time, pissing off a lot of uploaders and convincing some filesharing forums to explore other filehosting providers, they started a long downward spiral.

Nowadays, if there is something i need I check megaupload for it before i check rapidshit. Since i usually only download movies and tv shows anyways, and between my 0day trackers and tvtorrents.ro I have access to all the tv shows i could ever want, it's only for the really hard to find movies that rapidshare is still useful. Still if I can't find a movie on KG or PTP, and i usually can, I'll use jdowloader rather than feed rapidshare's pockets. I used to be the biggest most hardcore rapidshare addict before I decided to take a moral stand against them.

I buy new games anyways, as for older older games, i still download, also download discontinue or games that recently stop selling at gamestop or ebgames.
I never download movies, nor do i download music for burning purposes.
So i am good.
As for rapidshare , well if the site disappeared, i wouldn't care.
