I think CtrlHD is doing them but yes they should be out any day I would think.

(Unless of course esir does some "internals" like they did for inglorious basterds and release straight to usenet)
You would've thought with such a highly anticipated movie you'll see waves of posts - like the Avatar DVDSCR.

I think the lack of excitement stems from the fact that these are the standard theatrical releases. The extended ones are what I'm waiting for.

How long can you watch a movie for though. Ev eryone is up in arms that the extended versions aren't out. I've never seen these and am reluctant since they can be up to 3 1/2 hours long. Thats already too long for me. How could someone watch a 4 hour movie sheesh.

Ask all the people that went to go see Titanic when it was out years ago. That sucker was 3 hours long and was number 1 at the box office that year. Nowadays we can download at our leisure and watch things when we want. No one said you had to watch the entire movie in one sitting. Heck, I have 30 minute shows on my Tivo that might take me a couple weeks to see all of it because I watch in bits and pieces.

Do you always view everything you get straight through? I doubt it.

Well since I am a white boy, I can answer:
I personally have never ever paused watching a movie for more than five minutes and then continued watching it. If a movie/tv episode is boring, I just hit stop and delete the piece of shit. If it's good, I will watch it till the end.

Not to sound rude but ... are you sure you don't have ADHD if you can't watch a 30 minute show at once ?

Oh and by the way, I personally dislike the LOTR saga. Titanic is okay I guess. Btw I watched it straight through, many times. Feel free to flame fanboys.

Nope, I've got two small kids under the age of three living with me. So while I might not ADD I think I having something that is just as distracting.

If I'm going to watch a movie then I watch the movie. Kind of ruins the flow of the whole thing. Like the above poster said maybe five minutes but thats about it. And a 30 minute show over a couple weeks, thats wild.

3 hours is one thing, I watched braveheart the other night which was very long. But once you get into the four hour range thats just insane.

You know you either miss out on key points of the movie or it takes longer to watch it. By taking longer to watch, I mean by going to a point that you remember.

    Haven't you seen Spartacus (1960), Ben-Hur (1959), The Dark Knight (2008), Gladiator (2000)?

No never seen those old ones from the 60's but Gladiator and Dark Knight were only 2 1/2 hours (gladiator extended 171)

Still think anything after lets say 3:30 is crazy.

Maybe I thought Gladiator was long because it was a bore-fest except for the Battles.
