Thread: Why Do Dvd Rips Sometimes Not Play Good?,

  1. #1
Does anyone know why DVD rips do not play back good sometimes? Particularly with avi preview?

Please try to be specific. Dvd rips always play good. If you burn them as kvcd and play them on a dvd player then you might have some trouble. Try to burn them at a slow speed(definitely less than 24x)

Yes, most of them play back correctly the only reason I could see them not is bad frames in the file.

What I mean is rips that I download, not that I've ripped myself

What exactly do you mean by "doesn't play good"? What's happening with the files? Give us some examples, we'll get a better idea of what the problem is.
