ive been looking around for a while and none of the cd key changers work for me so i tried a dif approach that i had seen which would be to download an mpq modifier and look in war3.mpq to change the cd key manually. only problem is, where in the world is the cd-key value in the mpq? there are thousands of files and i dont know what the name of the value is so i cant find it. can someone plz help?
som1 plz help. is anyone on here even smart enough to know this stuff?

why don't you just reinstall? It would be way faster.
If you don't have the physical cd's anymore, you can register your copy of wc3 using ur cd key on battle.net. Then you can just download a copy of the game off of battle.net.
