    OK , it was just me wonderin cause sharedholder said it wasnt worth d/l an app to FTP the file and I saw it as an alternative to some1 else having to do it for him/her

    Why don't you use an FTP client to download it, sharedholder?
    FOSI's website has WS_FTP Pro 8.0 retail.

    Also, are you sure Flashget can't download it? Is the ftp site password protected?
    If so, you just need to fill in the password and username in Flashget. That should work.

    Wouldn't it just be easier to disable FlashGet or do what others have suggested such as using IE, or perhaps explain why you're without an essential FTP client?

    I don't need one ,i got 98% of my appz from http links so even that application i founded on a http link.
