Why do guests have to register to search?

I've had the same problem many times. Even when I norrowed down the search by as much as I can, it doesn't help. Not to mention almost the first search page are Pinned topics that have almost nothing to do with the search keywords... Is there anyway to help fix this?

A while, guests could actually search without registering. I don't see the point in them registering to do a search.
