Ever had free unlimited GPRS in your mobile?

I got addicted. And this was in the Opera Mini 1.0 days...

The title reminded me of when I upgraded from 56K to 128Kbit - 0.1Mbps, that is. Nowadays I'd be made fun of, but back then getting four times as much speed without using the phone line was amazing.

20 CNY per month unlimited GPRS...about equal to 3 or 4 USD.

Anyway the ChinaMobile has stopped new application of this unlimited GPRS service years ago, I can still use that because I got it just before they stopped new applications.

Nothing beats free. For some reason my carrier let you use GPRS even without any credit in the past. They disconnected you if you really abused it though, meaning they knew what was going on.

Eventually they removed this.

Well the thing about media is that it tends to mislead the viewers.
News reporters and stations all want the same thing: high ratings.
An example of that is Fox News. Worst. News. Station. Ever.
Misleading Americans everyday, causing people to react to "false alarms."

Sure war does seem a bit interesting than peace because I don't think the news reporters see that using stereotypes as a basis for some of their "complaints" are complete idiots.

You hear mostly about Israel-Arab conflicts because everyone likes to talk about that rather than Israel-Arab peace because the Israelian and Arabian audience would watch the conflict report rather than the peace report because of their deep hatred for one another. News reporters don't want to lose ratings, so they appeal to as much of their audience as possible.

It's a shame that an honest-to-goodness news-station doesn't really exist anymore...
