Thread: uTorrent Webui auto download

  1. #1
I saw a tutorial about uTorrent webui auto download for some trackers like scc , tl, etc but I can't find it anymore.

Anyone can give me the link?

It's about a program that we install in mozilla firefox, and then it adds an icon in the torrents list of that tracker. We click on it and automatically starts the download.

I have a feeling you mean this:

    http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/rss

    "Automatically downloading torrents

To automatically download all torrents from a feed, you can open the Edit Feed dialog and choose "Automatically download items published in feed." Checking the smart episode filter will make it only download the first version of a particular episode. The smart episode filter not work if the "Episode" column is blank....."

Just checked webUI and didn't find a button to add new RSS feeds. I guess it's not implemented yet in uTorrent.

Actually that what made me confused, I only one tracker (ScienceHD) that support webui auto download (you give them your user&pass and when new torrents comes they add them) of course there's this firefox addon, but what's the point? instead of adding rss to your webui, why not add it to your client, since you're gonna have to leave your browser open all the time
