A couple we know are stuck in the States, were meant to come home tomorrow but it looks like their flight will be cancelled again.

My nephew is stuck in Benidorm, but since he's a student and his parents are picking up the tab he doesn't mind too much.

A fellow from another forum I belong to lives about 30 miles from the volcano.

He's taken a batch of pictures; even snowmobiled to the brink for some pics.

    Pretty cool stuff.

As far as who's stuck, there's a guy in DC who has cancelled his plans.

I was pretty wopped the other day, and I forgot to pay the cell-phone bill. Verizon shut off our cell phones this morning, and I had to pay a reconnect fee of $15 per line for five lines.

My wife is doing an credible imitation of an erupting volcano, atm.

    So, yeah.

However, I'm working on an escape plan. It involves a multitude of doobies and a fuckload of booze.

    You obviously deserve it.

I would go mental as well if you just frittered away 75 bucks because you were whipped. True story.

Now stop whinging and start grovelling, you cretin.

Yes, mistress. I'm sorry for being bad. Do your boots need a proper cleaning?

    Well...yeah.

    This car thing, y'know.

    It's complicated.

    And expensive.

Worry not, though - this is my home.

Volcano? Guess I should check the news more often... Seems I don't have lava and ash in the yard.

Any chance someone could tell me who got elected President?

I have a trip scheduled to Warsaw within a couple of weeks, so hopefully things will get sorted meanwhile.
Internal flights here are working, so far only us and Spain haven't been affected.
