There are slighly more chances of legal implications when trading a Steam account over a tracker one. I guess this is what he was aiming at.

While we're at it:

Piracy or hacking: This includes using an unauthorized ("hacked") Steam client to access Steam, attempting to register fake CD Keys, or attempting to register a CD Key which has been published on the internet.

They know when you're using a crack every time, but no longer disable accounts for it - can you imagine the amount of bans otherwise? I have a 6+ years old account and tried pretty much every crack that's been available since the Steam-Down days to the current ones that patch it directly in memory and even let you choose what games you want to "own", without any problems.

They aren't even protecting the GCFs for some games either, meaning you can leech them directly from cracked Steam without the need to download them from elsewhere.

yes, but you won't be able yo play them in MP.

also, there's nothing wrong about trading steam accounts because they won't disable the account.
