A promotion I saw at their site, and the feedback of a friend of mine.
They have 2 farms, one in .EU and another in the .US
Nearly 600 days retention, very few connection errors, and speed always maxed up.
I'm quite happy with them so far.

Have you read any bad feedback anywhere else ?

Blocknews here only cause i download not enough to cover an unlimited account but i got something 611 days and i was real surprised, i wasnt gonna try it for fear of wasting precious bytes but i took the gamble.

Some place there is a special link for Supernews that lets you get it for $9.99 a month indefinitely.

With free SSL, 30 Connections, and 400 days+ of binary retention I'll take it.

It says 400+ but I have downloaded at 560 and got it completed.

Plus I have a 6mbps down/512kbps up Comcast connection. I download at 1.5MB/sec on average and hover around 2MB/sec sometimes. I have no idea why or how. Also on torrents I upload at up to 250KB/sec and no less than 200KB/s.

I don't know why but that is weird.

Know it's a bit off topic, but if someone could explain that it would be nice. I had GigaNews Diamond for the longest that I was paying $15 a month for.....they did a special and then after the two months I'd go to cancel so I wouldn't have to pay $30 and they'd offer me two more months at half off. I did that for almost a year before they caught on. Then I went with Supernews since Astraweb gives me issues sometimes and I haven't had one single problem. They normally charge $11.99 but if you can find the $9.99 link they won't bump the price up.

Nah I just asked because I hadn't heard much about them. I'm sticking with astra until I find a reason for something else. Good to hear there are quality options out there.
