Do you view the U.S. more or less positively under Obama so far on how he is handling foreign (to us) issues.
I realize that unless you live in the middle east you probably wouldn't notice any difference in your actual life.

I don't really think that too many members come to this section in the first place though![]()
well,Rart has a point, but this topic really caught my eye,
in my country, and I'm guessing in many others too from what I remember from world pools, people generally like obama, they believe Obama will do good. He is like the guy who will make America better.
Even though I don't really share the opinion, this is the public opinion you asked for.Pulling soldiers from Iraq and sending them to Afghanistan, and getting a peace prize just seems like nonsense to me.
Don't know where else to put it, the lounge will just be full of spam and as we appear to have a different approach to dealing with other countries I'm genuinely interested in how others see us right now.
We get to choose who our President is. The rest of the world doesn't and our choice has an impact on it.
IMO it's in our best interest if the world has a mostly positive opinion of us.
I'm not asking for compliments or a flame fest, just honest opinions.
Obama is crap!
Bush was in the media over hear a lot for all the wrong reasons, mostly for humerous stunts.
I don't have any views on the war that fueled by 9/11. What would you do if terrorists killed so many people in your country?, of coarse there's still controversy as to why they invaded certain middle-east countries.
Are US/AU troops making a difference in the Middle-east? Depends which news article you read. I don't have any intentions on visiting there to find out myself. What the AU/US Defence forces are doing is providing jobs instead of my taxes going to coons who buy TV's every 6mnths. I'm seriously considering joining the Army, a few friends of mine have joined and love it.
Anyway, I'm getting offtopic. How do I perceive Obama? Well I haven't heard much from him, he's due to visit here soon. I wonder what if we'll see a naked X-ray scan of him?
PS: The election here was aired probably as much as it was in the US. Fucking ridicules!!!

Well, then.
5 people (world-wide) like Obama.
Well, actually, the number stands at 4 (four); I confess to having thrown a vote to Obama, even though I was not entitled.
That I have been joined by 4 other (presumably legitimate) voters is somewhat nagging, but there you are.
