Well, actually, the number stands at 4 (four); I confess to having thrown a vote to Obama, even though I was not entitled.

That I have been joined by 4 other (presumably legitimate) voters is somewhat nagging, but there you are.
You could also say, as only 12 people (including you) bothered to vote, almost nobody gives a damn about the American President, whoever it is....

I think that would be covered by "no difference".

I just posted because I read the other day that world opinion of the US had turned more positive

Who cares whether the world has a positive or negative opinion of the U.S.? Obama is supposed to be president of the United States, not president of the world. I personally hope he loses the next election. I wasn't old enough to vote in the last election, but I will definitely be voting against him in 2012.

So you think we shouldn't have foreign policy?

Well, I'm hoping Ron Paul will be running against him.

Our foreign policy should be about what's best for us, not about trying to make other countries like us.

Ah, American exceptionalism at it's finest.

Given that we import most of our oil, owe our asses to the Chinese and sell our goods (what little we still produce) to everyone else, it IS best that other countries like us.

I would say it's in everybody's interest that there's at least something like mutual respect. Attitude like yours would certainly not help...
