Thread: Source for BluRay Subtitles (any format)?

  1. #1
Is there any tracker (or another sort of site) with a big section for BluRay subtitles?

The most common subtitles sites (opensubtitles, allsubs, subscene, subdivx...) only contain subtitles for divx vids (mostly in 24/25fps) and BD are 99% encoded at 23,976fps. And even after syncronizing the subs with BD video track, they appear with an incremental (and sometimes random) lag to me, so it's a pin in the ass getting the subs synch'd, as I need to get both sub and vid opened, and matching them by hand on every frame.

So I'd like to get the original SUP (or a well converted SRT/ASS/etc) from the BD movie (not a DivX one), if it's possible, that is.

I think you will not find something like that,

you should get the full bluray disk then with its menus and subs embedded.

Well, with SubResync you sync the first and last sentence and it'll fix it automatically. I haven't tried syncing to BD but I've synced my own ripped VobSub (idx/sub) 25 fps to BD encodes (23,976 fps) without any problems. It shouldn't be any difference when syncing SRT to BD.
