Weird Happening Yesterday?

hi yesterday i downloaded 50 CENT-IF I CANT and when i went to play the file WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER popped open IE and directed me to a page to update my certificates because the file apprently was copied from a cd. the warning said i was infringing copyright laws and advised me to delete the file-i never updated watver they asked me to and i just closed to web browser-has this happened to any other users and should i be conserned?

no its called DRM and I keep posting about it to get the word about it out, I think it contributes to all the fakes, person has it, players it with wmp9. rewrites the header, shares it, someone else players it, not the header for that machine, makes it corrupt
conclusion:

PLEASE DO NOT GET THE LATEST VERSION OF WMP OR CONTINUE TO USE WMP9
once you get wmp9, you can't get rid of it PLUS it has DRM

what the hell is drm you ask

Might I ask what is worse about higher version Winamps?

They look clunkier, use more resources, are more prone to crashes, and don't really give you much you don't get with 2.x

They've pretty much abandoned 3 from what I hear, and are instead working on 5 (2+3).
