Avg 6 Or 7

I no AVG anti virus 6 uses less resources. But i was wondering which of the two versions had better virus detection, if anyone knows. Thanks in advance!

how can one be better than the other, they use the same definitions, Id stick with 6, I giving 7 a go again on my main pc(more resources), its better than when I first got it, but going to give the same protection either way

I 99% sure its just a different GUI and 7 has a few more options like timed scanning, like you could set it up to scan at certain time, on certain days, and to scan certain files, that type of thing
