The invites were was much "difficult" to come by 4 or 5 years ago, when I first joined SCT, BEFORE they changed their policy where U can DONATE to get extra Invites OR get Extra Upload Gigs, then it became soooo.........much easier to join, [ Not that exclusive any more].... U catch my drift.....

Still the ScT invites cost money, which many people have a hard time parting with. So IMO still was decently hard to join.

Hard to join because you don't want to pay a friend $20, or because you don't have a friend in SCT to give money to? If it's not the latter it's easy as pie to join, maybe not worth it to some but in no way hard to join. Same with FTN; give a friend a twenty or 2 and chances are you will have yourself an account within the next month or so.

Not all Donaters, result in an "automatic" invites in FTN, there arre other considerations, But I do agree it increases your chances of an invite, if U are NOT a FTN Hero or superseeder
