I am having big problems getting any client edonkey client to connect because my isp uses a firewall so if anyone can help me, please reply.

or you could use shareaza which connects to the edonkey network, along with gnutela 2 network and bitorent

Yeah, getting Shareaza would be a good idea, but the eMule test client does not connect to Overnet, it connects to a network that the eMule developers have been developing (I forget the code-name now), but if you want to connect to eD2K, use eMule or as mentioned earlier, Shareaza.

and any p2p app that needs registration is just fucked-up and backwards.
