They say it pretty much "fixes it" I have to try this on my old 8800GTS.

I'd like to know who & how they came up with that so called fix. Did you kill your 8800GTS the same way as Seedler?

I wish! No I had a tragic water leak that fucked most of my system at the time.

Yeah the voltage is the main factor in overclocking failures.

u should have monitered ur gpu temp using the bios

I gave my mates old 4650 a bake after it stopped working after only 2 months of use. It's still going strong nearly 10 months later.

I wish I'd known about this a couple of years back when my 7900 went to sleep...
