Shwag is still holding at $20 for around a quarter or third of an ounce.

Same here(I remember about fifteen or so years ago a quarter of crap would be $45 or $50).

Mid-grade can be anywhere from $20-$30 an eighth around here(although I lucked out a couple weeks ago and got a quarter of mid for thirty five), and for dank it starts getting pretty pricey. Usually around $60 an eighth. But in my opinion it's worth every single penny. Not only do mid or nugz look, smell, and taste better, they also give me more of a pleasant high and the bags last me so much longer than a bag of shwag since it takes me so much less to get high. So it's much better for me to pay the few extra bucks for the better stuff.

Nobody really buys in grams around here, so I really don't know about those prices. But I'm guessing for the really good stuff it would be around $10 a gram.

I agree. Shwag sux balls to the max. I'm paying $35-$40 an quarter for Master Kush and other lovely varieties, so I'm bit spoiled.

I also prefer sativas to indicas. I enjoy a more "heady" type high. I am quite fond of certain sativa/indica hybrids for that cerebral, yet body buzz induced stupor.

I usually grow my own personal, but lately it's been quite hairy around here due to the election of a new sheriff.

This is something I need to learn. And not for sale, just for personal use. I only want a couple plants, not a huge garden. And I don't want to grow just anything average, I want to grow the best that I can. I got an acquaintance(a friend of a friend) that grows some of the stickiest and smelliest nugz that I have ever seen. When you walk into his house it literally feels like you're getting punched in the face by this beautiful aroma. I would be scared to live there actually since the smell is potent throughout the entire house.

Now he sells it too, and with how powerful his house smells, I usually try to stay as far from him as I can since I believe there's a bullseye on him(I usually send my friend over to his house to pick up my bags, shitty I know, but he doesn't mind, he just wants to smoke the stuff). But I think the next time I run into him I'll ask him how he does it. I think I remember one time him saying that all he did was read a book that told how to splice male and female seeds, and that's how he gets these beautiful buds.

I buy feminized seeds in small qualities through legit seed banks, and I have never had a problem. I use cloning techniques to maintain the strain, and lessen the need for numerous visits to seed banks.

I only grow for personal. However, I'll hook up a mate, occasionally. I have a few trusted friends that grow, and we also look out for each other.
