Thread: unable to open few sites

    i am unable to open few sites like hd-torrents,bitspyder etc but they are not opening its not like i am banned from their because when i use proxy then i am unable to open these few sites it serevr timed out error i tried changing my dns but still the problem is not getting solved plzz help

    I had some problems yesterday as well.my isp(Airtel) was having some dns issues.....went on for 7 hours I think maybe its the same in your case

    try using opendns if you have dns issues,it may help

    Well, that fact may actually mean you are banned - the proxy gives you a different IP...

    But let's assume you've been a good member As darkstate01 said, try OpenDNS. It's a great replacement for the standard, crappy ISP name servers.

    well my accounts are not banned as i was able to login when i used proxy

    Hopefully you won't get banned now, as most trackers don't like proxies.

    Tried OpenDNS?

    Try to restart the DNS from Control Panel --> Administrative tools --> Services

    Also open a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns
    It might help but i doubt it.
    C:\Windows\System32>ipconfig /flushdns Windows IP Configuration Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache. C:\Windows\System32>

    If you explain to them in IRC before using proxies why you need to, They dont seem to mind!
