    Is it possible to convert a normal CD ROM Drive in to a DVD drive? Are there any progs that'll do it?

    NO it is NOT possible

    A DVD drive will play cd-rom's.

    A CD-rom drive can NOT play DVD's

    The only option is to instal a DVD drive

    DVD ROM drives are cheap, you can pick one up for £25 (UK)

    NO IT NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE FOR ONE DVDS USE MULTIPLE LAYERS AND CDS USE ONLY ONE AND SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I DID'T NOTICE UNTIL I GOT HAVE WAY DONE TYPING THIS THAT I LEFT IT ON
