i thought it was pretty good. not near as good as the first one, but perhaps that's because the initial wonder of it is gone. mickey rourke was GREAT. his character was very good, but..

    Spoiler: Show

gwyneth was still cute, but scarlett stole the spot light from her. there must had been a lot more of Lt. Col. Rhodes in the original script because they have said they took out a great deal of his character in final cut (hence why terrance howard was recasted with don cheadle due to salary indifference's) yet focus was more on him and gwyneth in this movie than of RDJ.

samual jackson plays a bit part and nothing worth mentioning while scarlett is just hot imo. her bit part of fighting was cool to break the monotony, but other than that it seemed pointless. all-in-all i dug the film and it seemed to slow down midly in the middle during the "mid-life crisis", but was worth the box office ticket. 8/10

Scarlett Johansson's scenes were few and far between and I didn't quite see the purpose they held for the rest of the movie. War Machine was a very underdeveloped character, and there was perhaps a little too many storylines intertwined at once. The action was most certainly ramped up, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the story

I watched it and have to say it's entertaining at least. I actually wouldn't want to see an avengers movies. I would rather very much just watch a captain america movie instead.

    SPOILERS

"Congratulations Mr. Stark, you have just created a new element."

I half expected an XBOX live achievement to pop up. Would have fit in well with the rest of the bullcrap they tried to pass under the franchise/series name.

    And that's not saying much.
    Ellipses go here.

mmmm I thought it was just ok, It felt to me like there was a great storyline just waiting to get out but never materialised.
It still amazes me how the cartoon versions of these films still wipes the floor with the live action movies, dc and marvel have great storylines in there cartoon/animation films(superman doomsday-justice league) then they hold back and fall short with the live version of the film
bryan singer does an ok version of superman but still its nowhere near as good as the animation version, doomsday was brutal.

I saw the movie yesterday and I did not like it. Too slow and boring, only a few action scenes.

Funny that the final boss took lesser time to defeat compared to the cronies
