Windows Xp Update

For the last week, i keep getting the same "New updates are ready to install" message, it says "Security update for Windows xp (329834)
Anyone know whats going on? I already installed it once, but keep getting the same message every other day. Thanks.

just turn off automatic updating. It's for the dumb and senile anyway.

go to XP update site,click on "View installation history" and see if that update failed(329834) .Look in your ADD and REMOVE PROGRAMS list on your PC,look for that update..(329834). If you find it and WINDOWS XP UPDATE still says you need it ,then the one you have on PC is bad ..delete it....then update it NEW from site. It happens sometimes......
