Perhaps a key is stuck would give more than one bleep !!!

Check the memory cpu etc heat can make things come out of there sockets sometimes, I've had memory half out and get this far (still should be more bleeping going on).

Disconnect all drives etc see if you can get to post.

I'am sure he had problems not too far back with this machine!!!
