Yesterday my computer started acting funny, the mouse would move around but I couldnt click on anything.I switched it off and left it overnight, now when I try to boot up,the graphics card loads up but it freezes as soon as it brings up the proccessor spec.It doesnt even get as far as the memory check.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what his could be?

First thing to try... Replace the mouse.

If that doesn't work then you will have to start troubleshooting your hardware. Maybe keyboard next... Perhaps a key is stuck?

yea, stuck keys can really fuck up ur pc. try that. if not, run a virus scan. then, still can't get through? go into bios, and load fail safe config, if u have that option

Hey, abu_has_no_power. How can he do a virus scan if his PC won't even "get as far as the memory check"?

good call, thats where i would start, your bios settings are probably set to "halt on all errors" which is probably why its stopping after post.
