Do you remember this public safety announcement from the 80's?

FFS, this is the best PSA ever!

That one still creeps me out a bit. Fortunately these two made the overall programming block hilarious instead of disquieting.

The latter became "All are good, none are bad" when being retold at school. Exciting times in Canada.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

I don't think that war amps commercial was from the 80s, I remember it from when I was a kid. Somewhere around 94-97. Unless they remade it or were playing old commercials.
I remember "Don't you put it in your mouth" as well, also must be mid 90s...
I looked it up late '80's .Directed by Marco Brambilla who was still at the time a student at Ryerson Polytechnic. Soon after he joined Toronto's Partners Film Company "Then, in what seemed a blink of an eye, he was in Hollywood directing the Sylvester Stallone/Sandra Bullock movie "Demolition Man" in 1993".......and fittingly not much after .
Btw true story ,I saw that commercial on TV just last year . Although I don't really see the point of spending money on an ad just to demonstrate to children that robots are way cooler than they are since that pretty much goes without saying.
My favorite but I couldn't find a video
“There is fun in the water, but there’s danger, too
So you have to swim well, so nothing happens to you.
Learn how to swim at the YMCA,
Learn how to swim at the YMCA.
Learn how to swim
But never swim alone
There is safety in numbers
Do not strike out on your own.
And never dive
Unless you know
That the water’s not too shallow
And it’s clear below.”
Or as we used to sing.
"There is fun in the toilet , but there’s danger, too
So you have to swim well, to avoid the poo".
Respect my lack of authority.
