Netgear cards

I have a compaq presario 2594ag laptop and would like to difference if any in below 2 items.
1.Netgear 54 mbps wireless pc card 32-bit cardbus wg511 (using now)
2.Netgear 54 mbps wireless pc card wg511v2 (looking at buying)
If both the same which is better.

With the info you have given, you are using the version 1 and the other card is the version 2, they are both the same card, both the same speed 54 mbps, have a look and see on there website about how to update the cards firmware to version 2.
If you can, Its easy enough to do.

Thought they were close to same just i have 2 computer the same only difference one is 2594ag other 2568ap and wanted second card.
