Thread: Anyone else into R/C? Tried a few planes...

  1. #1
Cars and trucks are a lot of fun. Recently I thought I would give planes a try and I think its shit. Its 40 minutes to the field and the place is always packed. Nowhere else to go around here. I've also seen people smash up their stuff after working many months and say its all part of the hobby. Regardless of skill level this is still going to happen sometimes.

Maybe I'm missing something but spending all that money just to destroy something is not very productive. I read somewhere that something like 95% of people quit heli's because they get tired of spending.

Cars are awesome. You can run them just about anywhere and don't have to worry about them getting stuck out of reach. Much cheaper to repair and you can make them much sturdier than you ever could a plane.

S'alright. I can't fly it very well though, but it goes up and down and that

Me and my son make pretty elaborate paper airplanes.

    So, no.

    No need for batteries.

    Seriously.
