Here is the R4's official site. I actually have one of these and enjoy it. They aren't terribly expensive if you factor in the amount you would have to spend to get the DS that actually does half this stuff.

What about the cyclo ds.. also, that site does not seem to tell where they can be purchased. I already got ripped off once, and am not into doing that again.. Appreciate the reply though..

Hey there, registered to help you out ![Biggrin](//i.filesharingtalk.com/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Anyway, CycloDS is an excellent one. Note though it doesn't work on any DSi system (including dsxl) only the regular DS (which includes the ds lite).
I purchased for my brother from this site a couple of years ago and had 0 problems: http://www.realhotstuff.com/
It's listed under NDS flashcarts. Then youll need a microsd card. The type actually matters as some people report lag with certain brand ones. Go for one of the Kingston branded ones from newegg.com
If it is for a dsi system, I was personally interested in either the 'Supercard DSTwo' or an Acekard2i with the former having some really appealing features but the latter seeming to be a very reliable choice.
AH! one more thing. Afterwards when you start dl'ing roms, you'll want to use a trim application to remove padded space from the roms and reduce their size. http://eden.fm/ provides ndstokyotrim for example.
