Agreed - A forum should be created for a subject, not a subject created for a forum.

If you have no idea what you want a forum for, then that forum will eventually become pointless

He might be just testing to see how it is set it up and then later when he sees the need for one then it wont be a problem installing it quickly.

But it originally sounded like he wanted to create a forum just for the sake of creating one - I believe a few others have made pointless ones like that before (Hypo? Netweiser? God knows how many spammers? ) which is where I got that impression from.

But there are exceptions - Guess this is one of them
