Laptop battery problem

I have a compaq presario 2568ap laptop have a new battery and charger, when you press side tester shows orange on the 20 and green all the way through to 100. When you charge cuts out and goes to green at about 10%, and cuts out in a very short time when you disconnect main ac power. Battery works fine in other laptop the same, Also has a new hard drive just been fitted, was doing same thing when i bought it so replaced battery and charger.

have new battery and charger they both work 100% in another computer exactly the same.

if you have another laptop same as yours try the other battery, if it works you can trade the two batteries, if not and you Lap still got the same problem check and see if the battery connectors are working as they should be, "google how to test them" and maybe this i your problem..
