I didn't call you an illegal, but you seem to be advocating (insofar as it can be discerned) amnesty for illegals, or you fail to acknowledge that there are illegals, or asserting that an undocumented Mexican crossing the border cannot be considered illegal, or that Mexicans, illegal or otherwise, have some sort of extraordinary claim to American soil.
If you don't mean any of that, I would be very happy to see you clarify your views, and try to express any other than that I am racist.
By the way:
American land belongs to Americans, no matter their origins; if you are legal, then congratulations, and for the record, I am talking specifically about ILLEGAL, UNDOCUMENTED, OR CRIMINAL IMMIGRANTS, so figure out what arguments you want to press, and make sure they will stick, huh?
When you say, "this retarded Act of Racial Purification", to what are you referring?
If it's what is going on in Arizona, last I checked Chicago was in Illinois, so you must be objecting on someone else's behalf, right?
Can you imagine the evolution in immigration policy that would have to occur in order for you to suffer related profiling that far north?
I realize you have an empathy for your brethren south of the border (as have I, though I don't expect you to believe that), but, if you insist that you are 'as American' as I am, why can't you see the need for orderly immigration and documentation?
As to your fears about profiling, if you think the objective is to sight out enemies by looking in the opposite direction, can I ask you whether, when you walk into a fast-food place, do you expect to receive a hamburger if you point at the chicken sandwich?
If your skin is brown, you may suffer occasional unwanted attention from the laws.
If you are a woman, you have tits and guys will stare.
Those are just the facts, sorry - if you really object, I suggest you develop a serious dislike of the semitic-types who are responsible for your dilemma.
Also - if you ever catch me calling you a "spic" or a "wetback", I will follow by furnishing you my address, a gun, and a bus ticket so you can find me and kill me.
Again, I never called you an illegal; any sane reading of my post reveals my differing with the views you have expressed, not your skin color, about which I have no knowledge whatsoever.
Oh, and I hate NASCAR and Dr. Pepper; indeed, I don't drink pop at all.
I am using common sense, and, having re-read that paragraph, I see no reference to "church" involvement.
The blurb above doesn't help...they are canvassing because the census is over? Because they are not getting paid?
What?
According to the thread title, this is about the Arizona immigration law, which is a carbon-copy of existing (but unenforced) federal law.
What of that?
As to the Hitler reference, I reserve the same rhetorical rights as you and your fellow liberals.
I am an American as well.
