whenever i open word, the text is right up the top and wont print correctly:
how do i fix it (this is my old pc)
Internet Explorer
i want IE to remember passwords i type, yet i disabled it when i installed IE and now cant get it back. How????
RAM
is 640MB ram enuff to run windows XP?

word, the margins are wrong, it in the settings somewhere under file, might be page settings.
ie. go to options, content, auto complete, or it may be diff for older version of ie.
ram,
640mb is plenty for xp, but what is your proccesor?
i have 320mb and athlon 1500, it works great, i have themes disbaled thought as they are cack

xp will run fine on that system, but for extra performance i would see http://www.blackviper.com and turn of most visual effects.

View, Page Lyout, then click near the top (about an inch down) on the left hand vertical bar to create a margin that's within the printable area.

i also noticed ur olny running in 256 colours? have u not got round to getting graphics driver in?

yeh thats my old pc running win98.
266mhz
3.2gb harddrive
32mb ram
and i wanted 2 save in 256colour so i could put it on floppy, then go onto my new pc (this 1 im using) and upload. im selling my old pc you see. ill get about $3 lol

aww rite, why not keep it, to keep people grubby mits from breaking your own pc? as a backup pc?
if its pretty slow, have a look at http://www.litepc.com and look at 98lite, it will get rid of all the cack in 98, i noticed the difference on my old pc,
coz there aint much point in selling it, as its probably worth more getting sits use, than what money you wil get for it, if u know what i mean???

yeh i might do that. its not the fastest in the world but its ok for using word etc.
