Dont take this the wrong way but something like this will only attract collectors.If you want members who turn out to be users(who actually make use) of your site,providing some insight into what the tracker is all about is a step in the right direction.

We are just a caring sharing community.
We don't pretend to be the biggest/fastest but we do try to be the safest tracker.

we have a great bunch of ppl in our irc and staff are always willing to help
